Where do you get your diecast from? It could range from stores to websites. It does not matter.
I get mine from Toys R Us (apparently the only place that has a good number of them) and scale18.com.

My auto show always has this little side pale up on the second level, they have tons of diecast

yes the autoshow ones are usually off to the side maybe not on the same floor as the main hub of cars. you should ask around next time. i usually get mine from hrm... actully wait let me count.
31/87 of my 1/18 was aquired on trips including gifts like when i visit family 18/87 from websites so i guess that leaves 38/87 from local. most of the local ones are like maistos and such because my diecast shop doens't carry that much autoart and higher end cars so i usually get those off the web and from trips where those places have autoart and other high ends.

like when i was little i would take it apart loose pieces etc. some are project cars.

no not really wonking on them. have kind of a "junkyard" maybe for parts etc. i don;t like buying models to just use them for parts but this was when i discombobled them when i was younger so i can use em for parts. well since the last time i responded in this thread i've gotten two new cars. one from the 20minute away hobby shop for 30$ was the maisto jeep grand cherokee. the other was from the hobby shop that's like 40min north from my house which was the $55 ut expedition.
