when you buy it i want to see pics of your trunk to see if it has those struts because on the cmc website it showed that the slr had trunk struts but mine didn't have them and it didn't look like it was ripped off or anything maybe my car is just an older model hdi if you don't get what i just said just ignore it i'm sure my question will be answered by your pictures

Yeap the CMC slr is a limited edition but I think there are probably more than 3000 in the world. I've got one too and my serial number is 10000+, so there should be more than 10000 (for all colors) available worldwide. Also, this is a great model so limited or not, you should definitely go for this model if you really like it...
nosliw, I think the struts are just used as demonstration purposes... mine doesn't have them either and I don't think I ever seen them anywhere else either....

maybe it's only the 1/12 that has them? 1/12 is 1500+

Yeah it's probably for 1/12 cuz for something expensive like that they should include everything they possibly could. Otherwise who's gonna spend that kind of money on ONE model car....

1/12 i'm pretty sure the rims are removable. but i mean it's 1500$. 1/18 starts to seem like a bargain.

You have to be a diehard collecter to pay 1500 for a model.

^either that or you own an 1:1 slr and want a model (hence rich people buy 1:1 slr then buy th e1/12 model)

Whatever floats your boat i guess. I would personally never drive an SLR, too impractical.

you have to watch out for it too much. it would just be a pain to maintain. btw did i mention it's 50k for a break job. i mean its a cool car and all but it's too high maintinance. yo have to take the engine out to do an oil change! i wouldtake the mercedes sl55 do a slr front end conversion somelambo doors and performance mods. all that for maybe 50k. aka poor mans slr. it would prob set you back for a slr ediion sl55 about 180k or less.
