I agree. I would drive a Porsche before a Vette but there's something about the Vette that makes it iconic to Americans. To me it gives an aura that tells me this person has made it in life and is enjoying it. Maybe hard to explain but that what I felt when I saw one parked at the mall the other day. It's special in it's own way. I give it the respedt it needs.
I need to get the vert...

but to say the Corvette is a cheap sports car, thats just not cool man. Not cool at all. But it is! And what is wrong with a sports car being cheap, isn't it better when a car has a lot to offer AND is cheap? I mean heck if someone is willing to sell me his Enzo for $10,000 I'd take it And I think Corvette is special also because it shows you are patriotic in some way with its American tradition and all.

^Exactly. like i said. I'd drive a porsche 911 over a Vette if it was free. But Vettes are about 20k cheaper, you get jsut as much power, much more reliable, easier to find parts for ect. ect. Thats what turns me away from German and European cars. They dont have good reliablility facotrs.
But i'd take a porche if it were FREE. lol
